More to come on that.
You will be on your own in terms of activities and lunch.
There are many wonderful things to do in San Francisco.
Here are a few options:
Maritime Museum with old sailing ships and other marine interests, USS Pampanito SS383 and Jeremiah O'Brien with a cost of about $20 (limited access for disabled), Musee Mechanique many old games, etc and it is free. Shopping. Cable Cars, and the Buena Vista bar - inventor of Irish Coffee.
There are also hop on buses and bay cruises.
Since it is Fleet Week, the Blue Angels may be practicing and a Navy ship
might be in port, although the parade of ship's isn't until Saturday.

The Aircraft Carrier Hornet Foundation preserves and honors the legacy of USS Hornet,
a National and State Historic Landmark, and its role in naval aviation history, the defense of our country,
the Apollo Program, and exploration of space. The USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum connects
the greatest generation of Americans with future generations, educating and inspiring them to meet
the challenges they will face in the days to come.
