Perry Monroe is a WWII Veteran that served on-board the USS Jouett DD-396
Bob Erck is an OS2 (1982-1985) that served on-board USS Jouett CG-29
Perry and Bob had never met
and when Bob was asked by
Association President Terry George to visit Perry it was
discovered they live just a short distance apart.
The photos show Bob presenting the DD396 Jouett hat and clock that were made by Herman Touchet
The memories shared were about two different ships, at two different times in history, but sharing the same name
It's my understanding that there may have also been a few sea stories shared
