Tour of Fort Mc Henry and Baltimore’s Inner Harbor

Fort Mc Henry is the place where the American Flag truly became the symbol of the
United States of America. A replica of the 1814 American flag flies over the Fort 24
hours a day, by Executive order of President Harry S. Truman, as a perpetual symbol
of our patriotism, weather permitting - the 1st such Executive ever issued. The Fort is
better known for Francis Scott Key’s writing of the “Star Spangled Banner” which is the
official anthem of the United States since March 3rd, 1931. Leisurely toured the various
attractions that align the harbor – The USS Constellation, The National Aquarium,
Water Taxis, Maryland Science Center, Maritime Museum.

We hope you enjoyed this 8th Jouett Reunion as much as you have the past ones
